What we collect

Almost nothing. This is a static site. We do not run accounts, comments, or checkouts. Specifically:

• Calculators run entirely in your browser (JavaScript, no server). Nothing you type into them is sent anywhere.
• Email signup: the launch-updates form opens your email app with a prefilled note — we don’t run a signup backend and we store nothing when you use it. If you email us, we keep your message only to reply.
• Shortlist: your shortlist lives in your own browser (local storage). It never leaves your device.
• Server logs: our host may log basic technical data (IP address, pages visited, timestamps) for security and performance. We do not combine this with anything else.

Cookies

We do not set advertising or tracking cookies ourselves. Affiliate links you click may set cookies on the brand’s website (for example, a 14-day cookie for Cold Pod or a 30-day cookie for Sweaty Yeti, so the brand can credit our referral) — that’s governed by each brand’s own privacy policy, not ours.

What we never do

• We never sell, rent, or trade your email address or any personal data.
• We never run fingerprinting, cross-site trackers, or ad pixels.

Your rights

Email support@polarandember.com to access, correct, or delete any data we hold about you. California, EU/UK, and other applicable privacy rights are honored regardless of where you live.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we knowingly collect nothing from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above changes with it. Material changes will be noted on the homepage for 30 days.
