How the math works
Annual electricity = heater kW × hours/session × sessions/week × 52 × $/kWh. Five-year total = purchase + install + 5 × (electricity + maintenance). Cost per session = total ÷ (sessions/week × 52 × 5). Assumes electricity rates stay flat — adjust the rate upward if you want a conservative estimate.
